I saw your comment requesting help on phydeaux3's blog comments for the Tag Cloud.

Here is my 2bits worth:

Instead of putting a link to the article you hope your readers will go to in the blog post along with some comments then saying, "Discuss"...

How about writing a blog post incorporating your experiences as a professional teacher with parents and their children relative to the article you have just read. Then place a link to the referenced article at the end of the post.

It works for me.

The following links are to posts on my blog where there are comment dialogues - keep in mind this is a technical blog:

System Builder Tip: Dual Socket x38 Penryn

Windows Live Search versus Google

Windows 2003 Service Pack 2 - Intel ProSet teaming broken.

I do believe that if your articles are interesting to people, they will provide input.

Do keep in mind that it takes time before things start to happen. Especially in the blogosphere. So, it may take some discipline on your part to provide a consistent number of posts per month over a fairly long duration.

If people get the sense that you are genuine, and in it for the long haul, I do believe that you will find that you will get loyal readers.
